There is one word of caution for post players. While the shoe is supportive and protective enough for any position, it offers basically nothing in terms of abrasion resistance. The woven toe looks cool, and the fit is perfection, but it does NOT feel good to have your feet landed on while wearing these.
THE GOOD The LG G5’s unique modular design lets you swap in fun accessories. It has (two!) great rear cameras, expandable storage and a replaceable battery — a rarity in high-end phones.
THE BAD Although you can swap out some parts, there aren’t enough to make this feature compelling. You can only access the phone’s app drawer in a specialized theme.
THE BOTTOM LINE This is the phone to get if you want a removable battery, but it fails to live up to its world-changing Swiss Army Knife potential.
The GOOD The LG G4 has a sharp and generously sized display, a bevy of camera controls and raw image shooting, a replaceable battery and expandable storage.
THE BAD Though the phone’s battery life is adequate, it doesn’t last as long as its competitors. There are no significant new software features and its design feels uninspired.
Though it feels too similar to last year’s G3, the LG G4 is an excellent big-screen smartphone that will appeal to budding photographers, and has old-school features missing from rival flagships.
